I had a Consistory meeting at church last Monday night and after discussing all the business at hand and pressing and not so pressing issues and events going on at church, we took a moment to go around the room and ask one another to pray for something in our lives that we felt we needed others to pray on. When it got to me, without hesitation, I asked my fellow Consistory members to pray that I could figure out the merry-go-round that has become my life. I told them that I’ve been struggling with a life full of over-commitment and the never-ending need to go from one thing to another.
